One of the first and most prestigious stagings of the most famous play by Ion Luca Caragiale, this artistic jewel was made in 1953. Taken after a beautiful performance held on the stage of the National Theater, this film show is distributed on some of the greatest Romanian actors of all time: Nicki Atanasiu, Alexandru Giugaru, Radu Beligan and Grigore Vasiliu-Birlic.
