Mayang, the first child of Sukardi and Lastri is sent to Hong Kong as female worker with full of fear. She work and learn how to survive in a family & country which she was very unfamiliar with. Actually Mayang has a dream and doesn't want to become a female worker because of the many bad experiences she heard before, but her family force her to go to find her sister, Sekar, who has been a female worker in Hong Kong for two years and had lost contacts with her family.
