The remarkable debut of former rock critic Marc Didden, based on his price-winning screenplay. The film won the best debut price at the San Sebastian film festival. Brussels by Night was hailed as the first Flemish movie set in the big city that was inspired by the present and not an adaptation of some classic Flemish novel. We follow Max as he wanders through Brussels at night. He meets three different people, who, each in their own way, try to relate to his despair: an old colleague, the barkeeper Alice and the Arab Abdel. From there, the story unfolds, ending disastrously on the inclining plateau of Ronquières.
